Kindergarten has been counting down the days of school with their Alphabet Countdown! Each day has had a theme - enjoy some pictures from Crazy Hair Day, Dinosaur Day, Jungle Day, and Nap Day! #WarsawInspires





Earlier this week, 1st-4th grade music classes performed the music they have learned for other grades during the school day. They were showcasing the songs they learned as well as learning what it means to perform. The spectating grades used these performances as a way to practice being a respectful and active audience. #warsawinspires





6th grade students in music, presented their Music projects to 5th grade students today. The presentations included 3-4 projects that students completed in music this year. The presentation was a collaboration in both music and digital media classes. #WarsawInspires

Our Dia Del Nino celebration was a big success on Friday! Many students enjoyed watching a traditional Mexican dance, playing soccer, hearing stories, and eating some delicious food. #WarsawInspires







5th grade also utilized our school wetlands to study the effects of nitrogen and phosphorus on aquatic life with the Lilly Center for Lakes and Streams. This lesson was a great addition to our Meet the -Ologist series. Today, students learned all about the duties of an ecologist. #WarsawInspires

Last week, our Leesburg 2nd graders spent time with Grace College's Lilly Center at our very own Leesburg Elementary Wetlands. They explored the wetlands and worked to identify life in our local ecosystem. #WarsawInspires
